Crittenton Home deserves support
Editor,
We want to take this opportunity to express our heartfelt appreciation for the kindness and hospitality shown to us when we visited Polson to celebrate the 105th Anniversary of the Florence Crittenton Home.
A special thank you goes out to Jim and Joanne Simpson and Esther Anne Johnson who helped us to organize our community presentation in Polson; the Lake County Leader that so kindly helped us to advertise our event; the Polson City Library for allowing us the privilege of presenting in such a wonderful place, and The Town Pump Charitable Foundation for donating the gasoline.
The Florence Crittenton Home belongs to all Montanans. We were extremely touched by the many people from eastern Montana who came forward to share stories of gratitude for the help the home has provided to them and their loved ones.
Our budget is limited and we use most of our funds to pay for the care of the girls and babies at the Home. The fact that you were willing to provide space in your newspaper to us to spread the word makes it possible for us to use our resources for the kids who so need our care.
To schedule a future presentation, learn more about the Home or to inquire about how you might be supportive, please contact Barbara Burton at 406-442-6950 ext.204. You can also write the Home at 901 N.Harris, Helena, MT 59601.
