Deana Marie Streets
PABLO — Deana Marie Streets, 33, became an angel on Aug. 7, 2005.
She was born Feb. 15, 1972, in Polson and was a very social lady with lots of laughs and a good heart.
Deana was an officer for the Polson Police, a dispatch officer for the Tribal Police and a Tribal Probation Officer following her graduation from the Helena Police Academy. She was a friend of many, loved to float the river, spending time with her family especially with her kids, bowling and lots of outdoor activities.
Deana was preceded in death by her brothers Bill Streets and Trace Mesteth; Grandpa Henry Streets; Grandmother Bunny Gardipe; cousin Joey DuMontier; god-daughter and niece Rashaunda Denton, and many aunts, uncles and other family members.
She is survived by her three children Karmen Matt (Antoine Tenas), Shelby Grant and Trystan Garcia, who all lived with her; mother, Marilyn Gardipe of Pablo; father, Jim Kay Streets of Wickenburg, Ariz.; sisters, Tedi (Steve) Rodriguez of Pablo, Cindy and Tyree Streets and girls, Marci Mesteth of Wickenburg, and Bonnie Streets of California; brother, Will Mesteth of Arizona; her many special friends, Renee (Brian) Fisher, Jody (Sam) Barber, Michelle (Kenny) Spotted Eagle, Sandy (Brad) Wirz, Rocky (Penrod) Davis, Mandy (Reece) Turpin, Darlene (Dan) Finley and Lynn (Louis) Grant, and a large extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
The funeral Mass was celebrated Aug. 13 at in the St. Ignatius Catholic Mission. Interment was in the St. Ignatius Catholic Cemetery.
Foster and Durgeloh Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
