Charles H. Justice

PROCTOR — Charles Herbert Justice, 76, of Proctor, died of natural causes at home on Saturday, Dec. 3, 2005. He was born Oct. 3, 1929, in Kalispell to Eugene and Jesse Pearl (Adams) Vert .

Charles attended elementary school in Great Falls and Helena, graduating from Helena High School in 1948. He married Olive Dooley in Yuma, Ariz., In 1950, He served in the U.S. Navy for eight years before transferring to the United States Air Force, which he served for 12 years. He retired from the military in 1968.

Charles worked as service manager for various car dealerships in Montana for 20 years. Charles enjoyed hunting, fishing, rock hunting and panning for gold.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and stepfather Clyde Justice of Proctor.

Surviving are his wife Olive Justice of Proctor; stepmother Imogene Newgard of Polson; daughters Beth Rattray and husband Larry Rattray of Proctor, Kathy McCarthy of Yelm, Wash.; brothers Bob and Jim Vert, both of Polson; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

No services are planned at this time and cremation has taken place. Arrangements were under the direction of Grogan Funeral Home and Crematory, Polson.
