| December 28, 2005 12:00 AM

BENTON CITY, Wash. — Kenneth L. Sias, 70, died on Dec. 10, 2005, at his home in Benton City. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Mable Sias, infant brother Bobby, and his first wife Marjorie.

According to his wishes, his ashes will be sprinkled in his beloved Mission Mountains where he spent many happy hours on his horse. There will be a memorial service in Ronan in the spring.

He is survived by his wife, Susan; two sons, Kenneth C. (KC) and Cecil L. Sias; two daughters, Victoria A. Weeks and Cynthia M. D'Adamo; his granddaughters, Shelby C. Sias and Ashley D'Adamo; grandsons, Andrew Hendrix, Nick D'Adamo and Zach Richardson; his brother, James L. Sias, and sisters, Viola M. Potter and Donna J. Bennett.

Ken loved his family, friends, his horses through which he made he made many good friends, and he loved telling stories of his adventures growing up on the Flathead Reservation.

He was proud to be a member of the Confederated Salish & Kootenai Tribe as well as to have been a U.S. Marine who served his country.

To borrow a sentiment from his Uncle Walt, we are sure "he is riding his favorite horse across the happy hunting grounds and that he is at peace."

He was greatly loved and will be greatly missed.
