Santa brought a surprise package to Polson family

| December 28, 2005 12:00 AM

Editor,

Here I sit at almost midnight on Christmas Eve full of emotion and thankfulness. I moved here three months ago with my wife and kids to have a chance at a better life; we have had our trials but we are determined to make it here.

We have struggled with finances and a daughter that has been ill, all the while our heads held high, proud to be here in Polson.

I have not made much mention of the needs of my family, but somewhere, sometime someone knew that our need was there.

This evening we received a large number of gifts left on our porch from an unknown person; my purpose is to thank them for their kindness and to let them know how much their gifts are appreciated.

I am truly glad to be living here and now and love this community, my family and I look forward to many more Christmas seasons here.

Thanks again, Santa.
