Pick up free copy of density map, rules
Editor,
I am sorely disappointed in the sheep who blindly followed Joe Brooks to the County Commissioners' public hearing concerning the proposed density map and regulations.
Mr. Brooks, purportedly leader of the "Land Alliance," bellowed that his organization has "19 points of contention" concerning the proposed density map and regulations, yet to this date only he and his "land alliance" know what they are. Brooks' followers bleated their discontent with the density proposal while publicly admitting they had not read the document.
Most people who attend such a public meeting attend for one of two reasons: a) to learn more about what is going on, and/or b) to comment intelligently based on what they read and understand in the proposal.
I would encourage all residents of Lake County to obtain a free copy of the proposed density map and regulations from the Lake County Planning Department in Polson and to read the document carefully and attend one of the upcoming meetings.
