Christine Johnson

Christine Oie Johnson, 80, of Polson, passed away peacefully from this life to the next at her home in Polson on February 14, 2005. Christine was born on December 22, 1924 in Polson to Margaret and Ole Oie. In 1947 she married Eugene Johnson, and together they owned and operated the Shoreline Court in Polson for many years. Her beloved Gene passed away on Feb. 20, 1959.

She was preceded in death by her sisters Margaret Slack, Thelma Fite; brothers John, George, Thurston, Jerry and Leo. She is survived by her children Christie Babb and husband David of Olympia, Wash., Randy Johnson and wife Marcia of Kalispell; granddaughter Lacy Eveland and husband Josh of Shelton, Wash.; grandson Sean Johnson of Missoula; sisters Carrie Anderson of Columbia Falls, and Virginia Peek of Polson; her brother Robert Oie of Polson; and many cherished nieces and nephews.

At her request no services will be held. The family hopes that all who knew her will remember her gentle spirit, her cheerful and kind heart, and her delightful sense of humor.

Private family inurnment will be held at Lakeview Cemetery. Arrangements and cremation under the direction of Grogan Funeral Home and Crematory, Polson.

Erma Magera

Erma Elizabeth Magera, 86, of Hot Springs, Mont. passed away on Wednesday, February 9, 2005 at Missoula Community Hospital in Missoula from natural causes. Cremation has taken place. A full obituary will follow later and memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements and cremation under the direction of Grogan Funeral Home and Crematory, Polson.
