James R. Sandretzky
James R. Sandretzky, 56, of Polson, Mont. died on Feb. 12, 2005 at St. Joseph Hospital, Polson.
He was born on August 17, 1948 in Renton, Wash. to H.A. & Ida Sandretzky. He graduated from Auburn High School in Auburn, Wash. James then attended two years at Green River College studying mechanics and auto body work. James then entered into the U.S. Army for three years and served in the Viet Nam War.
Following his discharge from the Army, James worked at Boeing and was a self-employed mechanic. James married Becky Richards on March 26, 1973 in Auburn, Wash. James was a member of the VFW and also a member of the Military Order of the Cooties. James enjoyed building street rods, hunting, and racing.
James is survived by his wife Becky, of Polson, and his two sons, Damon, of Polson, and Don (Theresa), of Bonny Lake, Wash.. Jim is survived by his two grandchildren, Skyler and Jesse. He also is survived by two sisters and one brother.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday February 19, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at the New Life Cristian Center with Rev. Shawn Madsen officiating. Military Honor Guard will present honors following the service at the church. A reception will follow the services in the church hall. Arrangements are by Grogan Funeral Home and Crematory of Polson, Mont.
