RONAN-Fighting hard, the Ronan Chiefs (4-2) never gave up.
After being down 14-9 at the end of the first quarter the Chiefs came back and outscored Hamilton 21-16 during the second quarter. The Chiefs were led in scoring by Jimmy Michel with 27 points. Michel seemed unstoppable during the second half.
Ronan has not defeated Hamilton at home in three years. Ronan started their full-court press during the second half and it proved to be key.
"It's a win, no matter how you look at it," said Ronan head coach Aaron Griffin.
Ronan was able to come back and tie it up at halftime even after being down by 10 points.
The Chiefs' next action will be in Stevensville today.
