Phyllis Yvonne Clairmont

POLSON — Phyllis Yvonne Clairmont, 65, of Polson died Jan. 12, 2005, at St. Luke Extended Care Facility in Ronan.

Phyllis was born on March 18, 1939, to Homer and Anna Courville at St. Ignatius. She grew up and attended schools in the Mission Valley.

On Jan. 16, 1957, Phyllis married Richard Dillon "Tiny" Clairmont in Coeur d'Alene. She worked for St. Joseph Convalescent Center, St. Luke Extended Care Facility, and the Salish & Kootenai Housing Authority.

She enjoyed times with her family, times at the lake lot, yard sales and auctions, camping, huckleberry picking, cards, Yahtzee, puzzles, and computers.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, her husband "Tiny," and brother Marvin Courville.

She is survived by her children: Greg and Gwen Clairmont of Ronan, Kevin and Liane Clairmont of Pablo, Jeff and Patti Clairmont of Pablo, Val and Howard Roberts of Pablo, Shawn and Leah Clairmont of Polson, Kelly and Carla Clairmont of Pablo, Shannon and Effie Clairmont of Pablo; 22 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; her siblings, Barbara Durglo of St. Ignatius, Homer Courville of St. Ignatius, Patsy Doyle of Anchor Point, Alaska, Edwin Courville of Pablo, Gloria Rost of Pablo, Dennis Courville of Pablo, Tim Courville of Pablo; her sisters-in-law, Kay Neiss of Polson, Rhonda Clairmont Swaney of Polson, and Delma Clairmont of Libby, and numerous other relatives.

Mass of the Resurrection was celebrated Jan. 19, Immaculate Conception Church in Polson with Father Gary Reller officiating. Interment was in Lakeview Cemetery.
