Charles Jay Pulse

Charles Jay Pulse, age 67, of Polson passed away at his home on Thursday June 30, 2005 from natural causes.

He was born May 30, 1938 in Sherwood, Oregon to John and Elenore (Cookingham) Pulse. He grew up in Oregon, Montana and several places in between and graduated from high school in Oregon City, Oregon. He married Linda Dupuis on December 7, 1984 in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho and worked as a long haul trucker and cook in places throughout the western United States, before retiring to Polson in 1992.

He liked to play his guitar, sing and listen to country music, and loved to fish. He liked to build things and built his own home, and had a great sense of humor. He was preceded in death by his parents, older sister Louise, and older brothers Jack and Warren "Rocky", infant daughter Charlene and infant brother Linden.

He is survived by his wife Linda of Polson; sons Mikel (Tamara) Pulse, Johnathan Pulse, Jay (Crystal) Pulse all of Polson, and Jason Pulse of Polson; stepdaughters Vicki Bachert and Dorrie Sandberg, both of Polson; stepsons Steven Slack and Patrick (Bernadette) Pierce all of Polson; numerous grandchildren and three great grandchildren and numerous other relatives; two sisters, Barbara (Herb) Swan and Sheryl Vincenzi both of Oregon City, Oregon; three brothers, Wesley Pulse and Gary (Terry) Pulse, both of Oregon City, Oregon and Gaylord (Barb) Pulse of Polson.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 5 at the Grogan Funeral Home.
