Justice has not been done

| July 7, 2005 12:00 AM

Editor,

I wish that I had a better command of the English language to better convey my feelings and concern about the following subject. I apologize in advance for my lack of eloquence. The fact is I am so upset as many of you should be, that it is impossible for me to frame into words the total scope of disdain and disgust for the conduct of certain elected and appointed officials.

It is only after serious and contemplative reflection regarding the events over the last few months surrounding the outcome of the election and subsequent trial of the Honorable Rick Jore, that I take pen in hand to exercise my right to free speech and offer this one man's opinion.

We have been witness to one of the most blatant assaults on ourselves and the Constitution by those sworn to uphold and defend it. This has been a travesty of justice and a mockery as well. It is obvious that justice is not only blind but up for the highest bidder as well. We all know as well as Jeanne Windham that Mr. Jore has no business paying for her attorney fees. He is the innocent party who was the one who had a suit brought against him and the system. He had to defend himself. But to lose to a stacked deck of judicial tyrants who misread and have no understanding of the law or its application is incredible enough, and then to have to pay financially for the misdeeds of others is sickening to say the least.

The Supreme Court of the State of Montana is guilty of exercising judicial tyranny. They are a direct threat to the life, liberty and pursuit of happiness of everyone in the state. They have emasculated the Constitution and usurped the built-in system of checks and balances that were there to protect you and I so as to protect us from ludicrous injustices such as this. Their actions have not gone un-noticed and we have to do whatever it takes to impeach these people from the bench.

This county and district are at the mercy, or lack of it, from the high court on down and even the Legislature will not step in and help us. We are in a crisis situation. I believe the flag should be flown upside down, it is that serious.

We should also call upon Jeanne Windham and the Democratic party of Montana to step up and pay their own debts and remove this burden from Mr. Jore. If there is any decency or morality left in you, please do the right thing. And foremost, please pray to God for help to salvage what is left of our freedom and then get involved and be the sword of Gideon.
