Dayami Starr Joseph Piapot

ST. IGNATIUS — Dayami Starr Joseph Piapot, 18 days, became an angel on July 11, 2005, in Missoula.

The infant son of Jami Piapot was born on June 23, 2005, in Ronan.

Born with medical problems, his few special days and hours were precious memories for his family.

He was preceded in death recently by his great-great-grandmother, Margaret Matt Finley; his grandfather, Arnie Swaney, and will be laid to rest by one of his yayas, Kelly Matt Gonzalez.

He leaves behind his mother Jami of Ronan; his yaya Vicki Matt Piapot of Missoula and Lisa St. Clair of Ronan; grandpa Darrell Piapot, Sr., also of Ronan; great-grandparents Patti Piapot and Joseph Piapot, both of Spokane, Vic Matt of Dixon, and Carmelita Wood of St. Ignatius; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Services will be held Thursday, July 14 (today), at 10 a.m. in St. Ignatius Catholic Church. Interment will follow in the St. Ignatius Catholic Cemetery.
