Suzanne R. O'Connor

POLSON — Suzanne R. O'Connor, 75, of Polson died Wednesday, July 6, 2005, at St. Joseph Hospital, Polson.

Sue was born Feb. 23, 1930, in Chicago to Donald and Laura (Roberts) Royce. She grew up and attended schools in Santa Monica, Calif. Sue went on to attend Colorado College and received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology.

She married Charles O'Connor in 1952 in Santa Monica. They lived near San Francisco for 32 years and 5 years in Bend, Ore., before moving to Polson in 1995. She was a member of PEO and St. Joseph Hospital Auxiliary and enjoyed golfing and playing bridge.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Don.

She is survived by her husband Charles of Polson; a daughter, Laura Pickett of Missoula; son Scott of Plantation, Fla.; and five grandchildren, Molly, Karen, Steve, Ryan and Claire, and sister Sally of Orinda, Calif.

A memorial service was held July 11 in the First Presbyterian Church in Polson with the Rev. Dave Anson officiating.

Arrangements were by Grogan Funeral Home & Crematory.
