Floyd Gene Scott, 77, of Polson died at his home on Friday, July 15, 2005.
Floyd lived and attended schools in Missouri. When he was 16, he joined the Merchant Marines. He later joined the U.S. Navy and served his country for 20 years.
Following his years in the military, Floyd was employed with General Motors at the Flint, Mich., plant as a truck driver. He retired from General Motors in 1980.
Floyd married Lois Adams in 1978. In 1988, they moved from their home in Michigan to relocate to Polson, Montana.
Floyd enjoyed trap shooting, fishing, and hunting birds.
Surviving are is wife Lois of Polson, two sisters and one brother.
No services are planned at this time. Arrangements are by Grogan Funeral Home and Crematory of Polson.
