Proud to be a Republican

I would like to tell your readers why I am a Republican. When I was first able to vote I registered as an Independent, and found that there was no one on the primary ballot worth considering. Then I registered as a Democrat. I voted for the party through the Kennedy years.

Then I found that the Republican Party believes in the individual's dignity, freedom, ability and responsibility, along with equal rights, equal justice and equal opportunity for all.

The Republicans believe in fiscal responsibility and allow me to keep more of the money I earn.

The best government is one which governs least, preserves our national strength while extending peace, freedom and human rights throughout the world.
