POLSON — Leslie Ducharme, 62, died at her home in Polson, on Feb. 25, 2005. She was born on Jan. 18, 1943, in Brigham City, Utah, and is the daughter of Cecil "Pete" Lewin and Mary J. (Strong) Lewin. Most of her childhood was spent in Shoshone, Idaho, where she graduated from high school in 1960.

She married Bill Lee Dorman in January 1961 but divorced him sometime later. In 1979 she married Harold Ducharme and they lived for a few years in Boise, and then moved to Skagway, Alaska, for a short while before finally moving to Polson.

Leslie enjoyed dancing, bowling, playing computer games, cooking, camping, crocheting, and being with family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Harold; a daughter, Kellie Ducharme of Polson; a son, Bill Dorman (Ellen) of Salt Lake City; grandchildren Bill III, Amanda and Derek, Tina, and Travis; a daughter, Rachel Jardine (Jim) of Shelley, Idaho, their children Jack and Graedan; a brother, Ray (Phyllis) Lewin of Salt Lake City; her brother-in-law, Kenneth Morris, and her special friends, Judy Standbrook of Polson and Debbie Eichhorn of Boise.

Leslie was dearly loved by the Ducharme family and seemed more like a sister than a sister-in-law.

Her parents and a sister, Iris Morris, preceded her in death.

All those who knew and loved Leslie will truly miss her.
