RONAN — Thomas John "T. J." Anderson, Jr., 13, who was born Jan. 21, 1992, was carried in the arms of Jesus to Heaven on Friday, March 4, 2005, from St. luke Community Hospital from natural causes, an extremely enlarged heart.

He is survived by his parents, Pastor Tom and Cindy Anderson; one sister, Sarah; one brother, Tyler; his grandparents, Marvin and Florence Twogood of Missoula and Paul and Frances Anderson of Ronan, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

T.J. enjoyed a full life, traveling many years with his dad's shower unit to forest fires all over the country. Last summer he and his dad were able to go to Alaska and go fishing on the Tanana River along with his good buddy, Grandpa Paul.

During Christmas vacation he and his family, along with grandparents, took a trip of a lifetime to Disneyland, Sea World and the San Diego Zoo's Wild Animal Park, where he enjoyed many fun and exciting experiences.

T.J. loved and competed in several sports. He enjoyed playing his trumpet in the Ronan Middle School Band. At home T.J. loved to cook and especially bake pies.

He will be remembered by his classmates and teachers for his kind heart, gentle spirit and respect for all people. He taught us truly how to love and accept people for who they are.

T.J. truly had a servant's heart. There was a special spot for his grandpas Marvin and Paul, who spent many hours with him.

Funeral services were Wednesday, March 9, in the Ronan High School Gym. Interment was in the Ronan Cemetery.

A memorial fund in T.J.'s name has been established at the Community Bank, Ronan.

Shrider's Mortuary of Ronan assisted the family with arrangements.
