Theresa Lynn 'Teri Lynn' Antoine
Theresa Lynn "Teri Lynn" Antoine, was born June 10, 1970, in Ronan to Jimmy Antoine and Aggie Woodcock and left us to join the ancestors on March 23, 2005.
Teri Lynn lived most of her life on the Rez except for a few years that she traveled with her mother and brother Jim Joe to California and Washington to name a few, but family and the Rez always brought her back.
Although life at times was very hard on Teri Lynn she never stopped trying.
Her children were the single most important thing in her life and although there were obstacles that prevented her from being with them they were never far from her thoughts or heart.
She spoke of them often and you could find pictures of them and all her family on the walls of her home.
Teri Lynn enjoyed beading and spending time in the woods. But her favorite pastime was spending time with family and friends and cooking large meals to share with them.
She always remembered Father's Day, knowing that just her appearance was giving him all of a present a dad could ask for.
Teri Lynn was a very forthright person and often spoke her mind; even though Teri Lynn was quick to anger she was also, in most cases, quick to forgive. And although Teri Lynn lost her battle with drugs and alcohol, Teri Lynn's spirit will live through her children.
Teri Lynn was preceded in death by her son, Baby Boy Tenas, in 2000; her mother, Aggie Woodcock George, in August 2004; her adoptive grandparents, Kenny and Theresa Ness; her maternal grandmother, Josephine Woodcock; maternal grandfather, Leo Conko; paternal grandmother, Suzie Antoine; paternal grandfather, Frank Antoine, and uncle and aunts Billy Antoine, Dee Antoine, Rose Felix, Jeanette Conko Torosian, Geri Ashley Trahan and Harriet Woodcock.

"Life is a journey for us not to arrive at the heavens in a preserved body, but rather slide in broadside thoroughly used up as you loudly proclaim 'What a ride.'" You can't rush a turtle. Luv (Misel) Mitchell Parker, Sr.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 29, in the St. Ignatius Longhouse. Burial was in the St. Ignatius Catholic Cemetery.
