| May 25, 2005 12:00 AM

RONAN — Kenneth "Ken" Ray Beauvais was welcomed into Heaven by the loving arms of his Lord and Savior, May 4, 2005. Ken was born May 13, 1951 in St. Ignatius to Alphe Lawrence "Bud" Beauvais and Rose May Morigeau Beauvais.

Many knew Ken as Kenny. Kenny had many friends all across the globe. He attended Ronan and Ursuline schools and later he attended Ronan High School. From there he went on to cosmetology school in Billings, where he received a diploma on September 22, 1971. He then became a very popular hairdresser in Ronan and Missoula. Kenny even had done a few movie stars' hair. They would contact Ken, rent a motel room in Missoula to have their hair done, then fly back to Hollywood, all in the same day.

Kenny enjoyed hiking, huckleberry-picking, and rides in the mountains, taking pictures of everything that caught his eye.

Kenny also enjoyed traveling to many places to view. He was very artistic and truly took pride in his beading.

The most important enjoyment that he loved and cherished was being surrounded by all his nieces and nephews when gathered for birthdays and holidays.

Kenny will be missed by many, but we know that in Heaven there is no more suffering, no more loneliness, no more sickness.

Ken was preceded in death by his parents and brother Charlie.

He is survived by brother Larry of Pablo; sisters Pat McAlpin (Jim) and Rose Beauvais of Ronan; several nieces and nephews; several great-nieces and great-nephews; a great-great niece, and another great-great niece or nephew on the way.

A memorial service and dinner was held at Ronan Alliance Church, May 21. Shrider's Mortuary of Ronan assisted with arrangements.
