Loaves and Fish pantry needs items, help

| November 16, 2005 12:00 AM

Editor,

Polson Loaves and Fish Food Pantry is getting ready for the holiday season.

Due to the high costs of heating fuel, car gasoline and groceries, we are seeing more people than usual. Families are struggling to make ends meet.

We are asking those who are able to help fill our shelves again. We are in dire need of cereal, oatmeal, peanut butter, flour, sugar, turkeys and dressing mixes, and rice.

We are looking to our community for all the help you can give us. We know with your help, we will make a difference in the lives of others.

We are also in need of volunteers to work one day a month for a four-hour day, form 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. If you can help, please call me at 883-5855.

Please keep us in mind when going to the grocery store. We are located at 10 Eighth Ave. E. in Polson. Hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursday. Most other days someone is there from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Thank you once again,

Gerrie Boyle
