Wal-Mart part-time employee is satisfied

I am a part-time employee of Wal-Mart. Due to my age and my choice, I have chosen to work at a reduced number of hours per week. When I applied I was asked what hours and days I would be available. My wishes were granted as closely as possible to my preferences.

I have found the management very easy to work with and cooperative in granting time off. This includes leaves of absence or travel time or just special needs time.

I can participate in any of the benefits that a full-time employee has access. There are over 10 benefits pertaining to health issues alone.

My husband and I each have a discount card. I participate in a stock purchase plan whereby Wal-Mart will match the purchase at the rate of 15 percent. There are many more pay programs as well as home and career programs.

I am a very satisfied part-time Wal-Mart employee.
