Polson: A great place to live

Thank you to each of you who contributed to the hurricane survivor boxes that we placed around town. We made up the Basic Personal Kits and sent them to the hurricane centers to be distributed to survivors through the Disaster Relief Unit of the Presbyterian Church USA.

We also thank those who allowed us to display the boxes in their businesses: Super One Foods, Safeway, Glacier Bank, Community Bank Polson, First Interstate Bank, First Citizens Bank, St. Joseph Medical center and the Lake County courthouse. Special thanks to the Lake County Leader for the article and picture to let the community know about the boxes, and to the local UPS Store for help in sending the big boxes to the relief centers.

These are the kind of great things that are done by the great people who live in Polson. Thanks again for you are.
