CHARLO — The Vikings continue to pillage their way through a successful season, claiming another win, this time against St. Regis with a 50-20 victory, their third victory in as many weeks.

The Vikings took the lead early in the game with 22 points all the while keeping St. Regis scoreless during the first frame. Trey Sinclair got the Vikes on the board with a 23-yard touchdown run and he scored a two-point conversion. QB Bo Herak added another touchdown with a 49-yard run, and followed it up with a 45-yard punt return, followed by a two-point conversion to give Charlo a 22-0 lead after the first quarter.

The second quarter saw Brandon Rollins receive an 18 yard pass from Herak for a TD with a two point conversion from Sinclair, and Andy Sieges had a 34 yard pass from Herak for a TD, plus a run from TJ Kerr for two more.

Sinclair earned their only touchdown in the third with a 12-yard pass from Herak. Rollins ended the game with a touchdown in the fourth.

Herak earned 134 yards total on eight carries while Sinclair had 98 yards with 18 rushing attempts.

Rocky Reynolds, Tyler Roylance, Jason Foust, Andy Sieges and Weston Esterby each had individual tackles. Sieges also assisted in three tackles.

"Our kids know they need to play better than they did Friday, but mentally it is hard to get charged up against a team having a tough year like St. Regis," said head coach Steve Love.

This week is homecoming week and Charlo will play Lincoln at 7 p.m. Love said that should give the team the shot in the arm they need.

"It's homecoming week now so I don't expect playing with emotion begin a problem this week," he said.
