Carole Joyce Reum

RONAN — Carole Joyce Reum, 57, long-time resident of Ronan, went to be with her Lord Oct. 13, 2005. Death was due to diabetes related complications.

She was born Carole Joyce Pfau in Minot, N.D., Sept. 21, 1948. She married the love of her life, Carlie Elmer Reum, in Missoula on May 15, 1968.

She was preceded in death by a son, Carlie Lynn Reum, and her parents, Harley and DeMaris Pfau, of Minot.

She is survived by her husband, Carlie E. Reum, of Ronan; her son, Chipp Michael (Julie), of Tekoa, Wash.; two sisters and a brother, Charlotte (Tom) Moran of Lyons, Colo., Claudia (Rich) Fruhling of Minot, Gary (Barbara) Pfau also of Minot; three stepchildren, Sandy Lou (Dale) Alford of Pablo, Clarence Reum of Kalispell, Carlie Fred (Pam) of Big Arm; nine grandchildren, Amanda, Jonathan and Camron of Tekoa; Kaetie (Francis) Brown of Arlee; Fred (Lisa) Howard of Baltimore, Md.; Kayla Alford (Jonathan) Morgan of Pablo, Brett and Kylie Reum of Pablo, Autumn Reum of London England; nine great-grandchildren, Ma-Lee, Nathaylia and Errin Bigcrane, Hunter Glenn, Allen Brown, all of Arlee; Cameron Howard of Baltimore; Kadynce Morgan of Pablo; Naomi Meredith, Jamison Meredith and Julian Pluff, all of Tekoa.

Carole owned and operated Funtime Daycare for a number of years. She operated a small cafe called "The Lunch Bucket." She enjoyed cooking for everyone. She also followed her husband for many years while he was on tour of the Midwest circuit and the Northwestern United States playing in a country western band.

She will be missed by all who knew her and especially by her husband Carlie and son Chipp and his wife Julie.

She could never be replaced by anyone because of her love for people and her sharp wit. She really loved being an active dart player, and especially loved participating in the annual Carlie Lynn Memorial Art Tournament which is held at "Cheers Etc" in Pablo.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, Oct. 21, at 11 a.m. in the Ronan Alliance Church.
