PHS job shadowing starts soon

Polson High School juniors are preparing for their annual opportunity to participate in a job shadow experience. This is part of their career development curriculum as they continue to explore life skills. Students are matched with an employee/employer of a private business, non-profit organization, agency, or industry.

Shadowing exposes students to possibilities within their chosen career pathway and provides a connection between education and work. You have been very generous, in the past, to share with our students your valuable time, knowledge, and expertise.

As I contact you, I hope you will again be willing to volunteer your services to our students for a day. If you haven't had the opportunity to share with our students, and would like to do so, please contact me at 883-6351, ext. 213. I look forward to working with you as one of our participating valley community members who provide such a worthwhile experience for our children's future.
