Rifle range helpers appreciated

I would like to report to the community what happened out at the rifle range on Sept. 27. For those that didn't know, there was a cleanup at the Polson rifle range on Kerr Dam road. Many members of the community showed up to clean up all trash and debris from the range to make it a better place to visit.

Among those present were representatives from the friends of the NRA, 4-H, POI, and the Marine Corps League, as well as many community members who just wanted to give back to people of the valley.

We appreciate all of those who helped out, and a big thank you to Bruce McKay and his wife for volunteering the use of his business, McKay's Dozing (883-0448), at no cost to the public.
