Regarding "Is this what Democrats Stand for?" letter from Mondell Metz in Oct. 6 Leader:

As a Republican I stand for trust and faith in God and country; right to life from conception until natural death; equal rights for equal work and equal respect.

We are Republicans visiting Montana at Lake Mary Ronan. I am proud of our governor, Jebb Bush and Presidents Bush and Bush Senior.

Maybe the Democrats who won't respond because you said it all.

What can they say? You hit the nail on the head and I agree with you.

I hope you have a boatload of responses from agreeing Republicans.

I'm sending the article on to President Bush. I'm proud to be an American.
