Tribal role in search is acknowledged

Thank you for publishing my thank you letter entitled "Mother appreciates search efforts for drowning victim," as well as my son Denny's obituary in the Sept. 1 issue of your newspaper. My family and I are most obliged.

In my letter thanking the officials and volunteers of Lake and Flathead counties, I inadvertently neglected to also thank officials of the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes, who also participated faithfully in the search and recovery effort. I am embarrassed about this oversight, and would be further obliged if you would see fit to publish this brief attached letter recognizing the Tribes for their efforts also. Thank you.
