Mabel Rose Gallagher Felton

BOISE — Mabel Rose Gallagher Felton, 81, of Boise, Idaho died Monday, March 27, 2006. Following a funeral Mass on March 31, she was buried at Cloverdale Memorial Park in Boise.

Mabel "Doll" was born Feb. 20, 1925, in Butte to Frank and Mabel Haxby Gallagher, the oldest of 13 children. Doll was raised in Charlo.

She received her RN degree from Columbus Hospital in Great Falls, in 1947. She married Edward Van Felton on Dec. 29, 1947. They lived in Chinook, Galata, Great Falls and Billings before moving to Boise.

She is survived by her husband Edward and six children: Larry (Donna) Felton, Theresa (George) Mann, Linda (Roy) Coulter, Lori (Paddy Trusler) Felton, Jim (Geri) Felton, and Mark Felton. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, five sisters and five brothers.

Two sisters preceded her in death.
