Charlene 'Chuck' Kee

ST. IGNATIUS — Charlene "Chuck" Anna Carpentier Kee, 58, died Saturday, April 8, 2006, in Spokane.

Born Oct. 5, 1947, in St. Ignatius to James Carpentier and Irene Bourdon Quequesah, she was raised on the Reservation and later moved to Spokane where she lived until her death. She attended the Ursuline Catholic School for most of her schooling days.

She loved to have her kids and grandkids around her all the time. She enjoyed playing Bingo, camping, dinners, movies and barbecues.

Preceding her in death were her father Jim, mother Noni, grandson Jordon, granddaughter Lolita, sister Marlene and other relatives.

She is survived by the love of her life, her husband Kenny; daughters Lynn (Larry) Long, Leah (Roy) Jennings and Jackie Quequesah, all of Spokane, and Jessie (Moose) Quequesah of Charlo; sons L.J. (Mellisa) Quequesah of Spokane and Shannon Swimmer of Pablo; 29 grandkids; eight great-grandkids; numerous nieces, nephews and many friends; as well as her brothers Jake (Babe) Carpentier of Pablo, Archie Carpentier, Wesley (Raeann) Carpentier and Donald "Putt" Carpentier, all of Mission, and Bert Carpentier of Ronan; and sisters Tracy Carpentier of Tacoma, and Maria Carpentier of Mission.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday (today) at the St. Ignatius Catholic Mission.

Foster & Durgeloh Funeral Home of St. Ignatius is assisting the family with arrangements.
