Deanna Marie 'Mouse' Whitworth

| April 12, 2006 12:00 AM

PABLO — Deanna Marie "Mouse" Whitworth, 17, of Pablo, went to be with her creator on April 3, 2006, from injuries sustained in a car accident along with two others who were killed in the same accident.

Deanna "Mouse" was born on Nov. 22, 1988, to Jennifer Fischer and Kelly Whitworth in Blackfoot, Idaho. She was a member of the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes. She was attending GED classes in Pablo and had plans to start college this spring in Blackfoot.

Mouse loved her music, hanging out with her friends. She enjoyed beading, crocheting, writing, reading, swimming, talking on the phone and learning to cook. Her passion in life, though, was babysitting. She loved children and always referred to them as her nieces and nephews. They always called her "Auntie Mouse." She received the nickname "Mouse" because she would always do a little dance and make a mouse noise with her tongue and teeth.

Deanna loved leaving little notes everywhere in the house telling you she loved you bunches. She loved to make you a cup of coffee and was learning to cook big meals. She was so thrilled when she oven-baked her first chicken and so proud when everyone ate it up. Mouse always had funny jokes and happy smiles.

We are so thankful to have had the opportunity to have Mouse in our lives and our home for the past four years. She was so good to us and always willing and eager to lend a hand or an ear, always there with open arms to pass out hugs or wipe a tear.

Mouse leaves behind her extended/adopted family. "Papa and Mama Bear" Dale and Sandy Alford; her sisters, Melissa Kay, Kayla Marie, Kaetie Brown, Corinna Morigeau, Jessica DeWolf; her brothers, Fred Howard, Matt and Andy Wickman, Brett "Lee" Reum, Mitchie Joslin; her Grampa Carlie and her very special Auntie Alice; numerous aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews and many, friends. She also leaves behind her animal family, three dogs, Precious, Champion and JoJo, and one cat, Bootsy.

Services were held in Blackfoot on April 8.

Mouse … you'll always and forever be in our hearts.

XOXOX, Mama and Papa
