Ida Mae Hatch

RONAN — Ida Mae Hatch, 93, of Polson died of natural causes April 17, 2006, at St. Luke Extended Care facility in Ronan.

She was born Aug. 31, 1912, in Long Beach, Calif., to F.W. and Ida Mae (Corballey) Allen. She attended schools in California. She married Hubert H. Hatch on Oct. 9, 1930, in Yuma, Ariz.

She moved to Pablo in 1978 and to Ronan in 1987. She worked as a bookkeeper and was co-owner of a Shell Oil Co. gasoline distributor business. She was a member of the Nazarene Church, the Business and Professional Women's Club and the Republican Women, and was active in church school.

She is survived by a son, Allen Hatch (Carol) of Rapid City, S.D.; a daughter, Ardis McDorman Glenn) of Ronan; six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, three brothers and a sister.

A memorial service will be held later. The family requests that memorials be made to the Gideons or to the organization of the donor's choice.
