Scott Anthony Baca

RONAN — Scott Anthony Baca, 40, died of a massive coronary, on Wednesday, July 19, 2006, at his home in Richfield, Idaho.

He was born June 12, 1966, in California. Scott grew up between California, Idaho and Polson. Growing up, his lifelong dream was to drive long haul Peterbilt trucks, which he did for many years.

He loved the outdoors, especially fishing.

He was separated from his wife and was raising his 10-month-old son on his own, Alexander "Alex" Scott Baca, who was born Sept. 22, 2005.

Scott was a great father, he had devoted every minute of each day to Alex.

Scott was especially fond of his sister's two children, Cameron and Kristen Funke of Ronan.

He was also close with his niece Jennifer of Brookings, South Dakota.

He was very close with his sister, Teresa Funke of Ronan; she was born on his second birthday and they spent many happy years together.

Survivors included his sons, Alexander of Richfield, Anthony and Joey of California; his daughter, Samantha of California; sisters, Teresa (Matt) Funke and their children of Ronan, Christy Miller of Florida and her children; his mother, Dixie Belfield of Faulkton, S.D.; father, Larry Baca of San Jose, Calif.; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Those preceding him in death were his aunt Charlene, cousin Michael Bowdy and uncle Mike Killner.
