Kelsey Noble signs to play with UGF
Kelsey Noble, a 2004 graduate of Polson High School, has signed to play softball with the University of Great Falls. She played in Washington for the Edmonds Community College and Walla Walla Community College. Noble will transfer this fall to Great Falls, and will play first base. While playing for Polson High School, she was three time all conference, selected second team all state, and was a part of three state championship teams.
Area cowboys place at Missoula rodeo
MISSOULA — Levi Hendrickson of Arlee came back from the Western Montana Fair rodeo with $1,373.13 in his jeans pocket after winning the bull riding event. Fourth place finisher was Brett Crump of Lone Pine, who won $499.32.
Bruce Sabers of St. Ignatius placed sixth in tie down roping with a time of 10.5, which was worth $295.68.
Ronan Booster Club will meet Aug. 21
Ronan High School Boosters Club will be having its annual membership meeting on Aug. 21 in the Grand Commons at Ronan Middle School. The meeting will start at 7 p.m. The agenda for the meeting includes election of officers, introduction of coaching staff, and membership.
