2007 car show plans already being made
Editor,
We extend appreciation to the Polson community and its agencies for supporting Cruisen' by the Bay. By all standards the quality of exhibit cars improved dramatically this year, a trend we anticipate will continue through the remainder of the decade.
We acknowledge our show sponsors: Don Aadsen Ford, Ronan Dodge, Mission Valley Auto, Anderson Broadcasting, Five Star Finance, Community Bank, KECI TV, Channel 13. This support team, with the insight and cooperation of the Hagadone newspaper chain, allowed us to market Montana, Idaho and Western Washington, drawing visitors to our region for this special weekend, an exclusive investment made through Valley Cruiser Car Club advertising funds.
It is more than appropriate to salute Anderson Broadcasting, and owner Dennis Anderson, for their annual sponsorship of the Bop-a-Dips, that wonderful bopping Friday evening dance party at Riverside Park. Equally their excellent effort through the BIG 100.7's live broadcast on Saturday, at Cruisen' by the Bay.
With the arrival of Dennis Gage and a slot in the 2007 lineup for "My Classic Car," expectations for next year's attendance and show exhibitors will increase dramatically. The Valley Cruisers have already started the marketing and merchandising process to draw additional and more varied show cars, consolidating our reach in the Northwest, while continuing to build a West Coast network, with increased penetration into the Mid-west.
An announcement can be expected in early September as to community donations made by the Valley Cruisers Car Club, soon after expenses are paid-in-full and profits established.
We look forward to 2007 and will keep our community informed.
Happy trails.
Mike Lee, President
Valley Cruisers Car Club
