Nadine was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Columbia Falls.
Nadine loved to embroider, crochet, and was a "perfectionist" with housekeeping. She was currently retired and a homemaker, until her illness. Her biggest thrills in life were to go trout fishing and camping. She loved the outdoors and was the happiest when she had a fishing pole in her hand. She was a very devout Christian woman and loved her church congregation and was very knowledgeable in the Holy Bible. Her biggest passion and desire was to always "be with the Lord some day."
Preceding her in death were her parents, James L. & Clara M. "Olson" Brooks of Montana; infant brothers Rex and Lester Brooks of North Dakota; brother Robert Wesley Brooks of Kalispell; sisters, Ethel Margaret "Brooks" Christensen of Missoula, Betty Jean "Brooks" McGhan, of Woodland Hills, Calif., and Cathryn Henrietta "Kaye" Brooks Johnson of Lafayette, Tenn.

Nadine is also survived by her very special friend and companion, Mr. Steve Roy Stevens of Silver Bow County, Butte.
Upon Nadine's personal wishes, she requested no funeral or memorial services held. As per her wishes Nadine made a generous gift of anatomical donation of her body to Idaho State University in Pocatello, to help provide excellent educational experiences for students in health related areas in study. The purpose is to broaden and enhance educational and research endeavors.
Following the donation process, cremation will occur at a later date and Nadine's ashes and remains will be placed in the family burial plot in the Ronan cemetery.
A poem written by Nadine upon her death-bed:
Sometimes when my faith would falter
And no sunlight I can see.
I just lift my eyes to Jesus
And I whisper, "Pilot me."
"Fear thou not, for I'll be with Thee,
I will still thy Pilot be;
never mind the tossing billows
Take your hand and trust in me."
