Robert Daniel Fitzpatrick

HOT SPRINGS — Robert Daniel Fitzpatrick, 67, of Hot Springs, died of natural causes on Aug. 12, 2006, at St. Patrick Hospital, Missoula.

He was born April 2, 1939, at the family home to Fred and Lela Anderson Fitzpatrick.

He was a rancher all his life at the family home in Oliver Gulch. He started by raising sheep until coyotes got thick and he had to sell them and go to raising cattle and horses.

He served in the National Guard until 1959 when he received an honorable discharge.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Fred and Lela Fitzpatrick; brother Fred J. Fitzpatrick, and sisters Violet and Eva.

Surviving are his wife, Cheryle (Chick); daughters, Dianna Fitzpatrick (Cody Smith) and Stacey Stinger (Bruce); sister Alicia Whitman; three brothers, Thomas Fitzpatrick (Ione), James Fitzpatrick (June) and Bud Fitzpatrick (Carol); seven grandchildren, Austin Smith, Jade Smith, Bowdrea Nicolai, Samantha Ness, Kimberly Stinger, Cassandra Stinger and Zachery Stinger; and many nieces and nephews.

He was very much loved and will be very much missed.
