Polson Pantry's "Match Program" Continues

| December 8, 2006 12:00 AM

Editor,

While Town Pump's generous $5,000 Match Program for the Polson Loaves and Fish Food Pantry ended in November, Mission Mountain Les Schwab and Treasure State Concrete each will continue to match Pantry donations up to $2,500 each through the end of December.

The Pantry volunteers and board of directors truly appreciate the ongoing support of these organizations as we endeavor to expand our food assistance outreach efforts in the Polson area.

The Polson Loaves and Fish Food Pantry is open for assistance on Tuesday and Friday between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Anyone needing emergency or supplemental food should come to our facility at 10 8th Avenue East in Polson, or call 883-6864 for directions.

At this time the Pantry serves in excess of 100 families per month, and is always in need of dedicated and reliable volunteers. Interested individuals should stop by the Pantry during "open" hours or contact Gerrie Boyle at 883-5855.
