Virginia Helen Thomason

POLSON — Virginia Helen Thomason, 85, of Ronan died on Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2006, at St. Luke Community Nursing Home, Ronan.

Virginia was born on April 26, 1921, in Jay County, Ind., to James & Sarah (Knab) Bailey.

She married Charles Rhodes on Sept. 1, 1938, and they later divorced. She married Johnny Thomason in the early 1960s and he preceded her in death.

Virginia operated a daycare in Ronan for several years. She loved spending time with and taking care of her family.

Virginia lived at the St. Luke Community Nursing Home in Ronan for the past year.

She was preceded in death by her husband Johnny and six siblings.

Virginia is survived by a son, Chuck Rhodes of Butte; two daughters, Barbara Rhodes of St. Johns, Ariz., and Johanna Zundel of Spring Creek, Nevada; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren, and a sister, Madonna Bailey in Indiana.

Cremation has taken place and no services are planned.
