Lewings gave them hope

May I take this means to express my heartfelt gratitude to the Port Polson Players who recently donated their talented time to a benefit for the Rialto Theatre in Deer Lodge.

The first phone call from Neal Lewing came on Sunday morning, Nov. 5, while the fire was still burning at our beloved theater. It felt as though our hearts had been ripped from our chests but Neal did not ask, "what can we do" but rather "we will be there as soon as you can set a date for us."

Neal and Karen gave us hope when all seemed hopeless and they were truly an inspiration for us to move forward. We loved them when they spent some years here to establish our Prison Players and we thank them for their continued love and support. So to all of the crew that gave of their time and talent to give us such a magical evening, you'll never know how it has touched our hearts!

From a grateful board of directors, I say thank you, thank you, thank you to each and every one of you.
