Dolores Jean Stanley

POLSON — Dolores Jean Stanley, 69, of Polson went home to be in the arms of Jesus on Dec. 22, 2006.

Dolores was born on Nov. 17, 1937, in Kalispell to Ben and Mabel Rohrer. Dolores married Ray Stanley in 1955 in Kalispell.

She enjoyed collecting dolls, building dollhouses and sewing. She was a member of the Polson Alliance Church and enjoyed Bible study in her home.

Dolores was preceded in death by her son, Russell Ray Stanley, and her parents, Ben and Mabel Rohrer.

She is survived by her husband Ray of Polson; daughter Laurie Miller and her husband Don of Polson; sons Rory Stanley and his wife Jeannie of Chicago and Rocky Stanley of Polson; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother Jim Rohrer and his wife Sheila of Lakeside and Arizona.

A memorial service will be held today, Thursday, Dec. 28, at 2 p.m. in the Polson Alliance Church with the Rev. Harvey Town officiating.
