MVB league helpers are appreciated

A sincere thank you to the organizers of the Mission Valley Basketball League for fourth and fifth grade boys.

Thanks to Steve Woll in Mission for making up all of the schedules. Thanks to Randy Kelley for volunteering the Polson Middle School gym and having it ready every Saturday morning. Thanks to Tracy Bauer for handling all of the administrative tasks and headaches that go along with organizing a production of this size.

Special thanks to all of the coaches throughout the valley who have volunteered their time for practices and games since the middle of November. Thank you, also, to the referees, who did their part in helping to mold 9- and 10-year-old boys into basketball players.

And thank you to Charles Bertsch for once again running the basketball skills camp day after day to teach the boys fundamentals so that the coaches could concentrate on team play.

You have all gone above and beyond your roles as parents and teachers, and we appreciate your commitment to our kids.
