All are invited to Big Arm Association potluck
Editor,
The Big Arm Association is off to a great start. We are new and excited about our growth and our community. The association has great people involved and has a highly energized future planned for the Big Arm area. On behalf of the Association and the people, we would invite you to our next meeting, a potluck supper at the Big Arm Fire Station on Monday, Feb. 27, from 5 to 7 p.m.
At our last meeting we had volunteer firefighters who gave information on training, and our State Representative Janna Taylor was at the meeting. We need our community leaders to help us with our cause.
The association has generated $5,400 and it is growing with generous contributions coming in daily. People are working on fundraising activities in which we hope to generate enough money to pay for the new sanitary services and upgrades the Big Arm Fire Station so desperately needs. Any ideas and donations are appreciated.
The future looks bright with plans for recreational activities and fundraising events to be enjoyed by our growing community and families.
We have a historian, who has been in the area for many years and has valuable information and knowledge.
Five brave neighbors are training to become volunteer firefighters and are already responding to alarms north of the bridge.
Please come to the potluck supper, meet our Big Arm firefighters, tour the station and see the equipment, and greet your neighbors. Please bring your favorite dish. Please call to confirm 849-6628. We invite everyone to attend.
