Andrew (Andy) Resner

RONAN — Andrew (Andy Resner, 82, of Ronan, died of natural causes Monday, July 3, 2006, near Crow Reservoir .

Andy was born on Jan. 7, 1924, in Ronan to Carl and Eunice Resner. Andy was raised on the ranch on Crow Dam Rd; He worked on the ranch until he joined the Army.

Later he worked for mining companies in Idaho. Upon his return to Ronan, he busily tore down buildings and sold salvaged materials.

He was best known for selling his fresh produce, mainly his raspberries and strawberries. He was very proud of his fresh produce. Andy's main passion was fishing, which he did until his dying day.

He was single and never married.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Eunice Resner; three brothers, Kenny Resner, Benny Resner, and Herb Resner; one sister, Irene Anderson; and a niece, Kelli King Baker.

He is survived by his sisters, Helen Waters and Margaret King; his brothers, Carl Resner and Leonard Resner; many nieces and nephews, and their families. He will be greatly missed.

No services are planned. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Shrider-Thompson Funeral Home and Crematory in Ronan.
