Dan Fox Fun Run raises nearly $6,500

Thank you for your donation to the Seventh Annual Fun Run for the Dan Fox Foster Care and Adoption Program, which was held June 17. Nearly 150 runners participated on a beautiful Saturday morning at our new location at Mission Bay.

We raised nearly $6,500, all of which will go directly to our children, enabling us to provide them with new clothing and books, fun activities, and educational experiences. They are able to attend summer camp, or take music or horseback riding lessons — things that these children wouldn't otherwise be able to experience.

Garrison Keillor once said, "Nothing you do for children is ever wasted."

Thanks again for supporting local foster children. They, too, appreciate all that is done for them. We look forward to next year's run and want to thank you again for your part in making this year such a success.
