Ride for Hope fundraising ride set

| June 29, 2006 12:00 AM

Editor,

To start with, I would like to thank everyone for the donation and support last year to the Montana Hope Project, Ride for Hope. It was greatly appreciated.

Again, I am writing this letter to request a donation to the Montana Hope Project, Ride for Hope. The Montana Hope Project is an all-volunteer organization under the umbrella of the Association of Montana Highway Patrolmen. The Hope Project grants wishes to critically and chronically ill children in Montana.

It is not associated with any national wish-granting organization and relies solely on fundraising volunteers and donations from local businesses, organizations and individuals.

The Hope project granted 260 wishes since 1984 at an average cost of $5,900.

The ride this year will take place on July 15. The destination is Kalispell. Please visit our website at www.montanahope.org to learn more about our organization, and all the good things that have resulted, thanks to dedicated individuals such as yourself.

To make a donation to the Ride for Hope, please make checks out to Montana Hope Project and send to Montana Hope Project c/o Royce Bid, 34581 Rocky Point Rd., Polson, MT 59860.

Thank you for helping to make a wish come true.

Royce E. Bird
