Byron Lyle Berg
HARLOWTON — Byron Lyle Berg, 70, of Martinsdale died at his home surrounded by his family on March 4, 2006. He was a well-liked and respected rancher, cattle buyer, hunter education instructor of 45 years, musician, husband, father, businessman and a true friend of humanity.
In June 1959 he married Lauretta Colvin of Charlo. Their four children are Larry and wife Roxanne and children Trent and Trevor; Keith and wife Amy and children Cole, Beau and K.C.; Norma and husband Greg Clements; Sandy and husband Trent Woldstad and children Garret and Colter.
Byron was born May 26, 1935, in Bozeman to Ruth Evelyn Stevens Berg and her husband Albert. They both preceded him in death as did his brother, Donald.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, March 11, at 2 p.m. in the American Lutheran Church in Harlowton. Graveside services will be at the Harlowton Cemetery with fellowship following at the Youth Center in Harlowton.
