Firefighters' Ball was best one yet

For the past five years, the Polson Fire Department's Ladies Auxiliary has diligently planned and hosted an annual Firefighters' Ball. Each year the community and local businesses provide overwhelming support for this event. We have just completed the 5th Annual Ball, which exceeded anyone's expectations for making new acquaintances and social enjoyment.

I thank all of the individuals and businesses who contributed, the Ladies Auxiliary, the firefighters, and my wife Kim, who made this event a special evening as we shared the annual Fire Department awards.

Every year I wonder if the next year's event can be outdone, but with the contributions and cooperation of all involved, it seems each year is even better than the last.

Thanks to everyone who made this event special and fun.
