POLSON — Perry Lee Mock, 58, longtime resident of Hot Springs, died on Friday, March 17, 2006, at St. Joseph Hospital in Polson.

He was born on Sept. 23, 1947, in Sheridan, Wyo., to Franklin and Marie (Twing) Mock. Perry married Gayle Hermiston on June 10, 1972, in Paradise. They spent 34 years together raising four children. He worked various jobs throughout his life; however, law enforcement and service to others were his true passion. Perry loved music, hunting, fishing, but most of all, spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Franklin.

Perry is survived by his wife, Gayle of Ronan; three sons, Cyrus, Matthew and Justin, all of Ronan; one daughter, Melissa, also of Ronan; his mother, Marie of Hot Springs; two brothers, Jerry and Dave Mock, both of Hot Springs; a host of little Mock grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family requests that you take a child fishing, as Perry believed in the importance of investing in children.

Services were March 21 in the Church of God in Paradise. Burial was in Paradise Cemetery.

Arrangements were under the direction of Bunch Toews Funeral Chapels.
